The Board of Education on Thursday, August 17, voted to approve a full rollback of the millage rate. With the full rollback, the District millage rate will decrease to 14.674 mills. No Public Hearings were required due to the full rollback.
The Bibb County School District's millage rate has experienced a rollback for 6 consecutive years prior to this year. The current millage rate for the most recent year was 16.720 mills, which is lower than that in 2012, which was 17.945 mills.
